- International – 15+ years geological experience in Canada, Europe (Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, former Yugoslavia, Spain, France), Russia, and Ukraine
- Advanced drilling supervision experience – 80+ oil & gas wells, 200+ exploration oil sands wells, 16 deep piezometres for oil sands monitoring, and 650+ water wells and piezometres
- Familiar with the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin (WCSB), and the various types of plays
- Familiar with Alberta & Saskatchewan Oil Sands geology
- Experience with underground mining – fluorite-barite (F-Ba) deposits
- Experience with diamond mining – exchange work-study at the Diamond deposits of eastern Siberia
