I started to paint from an urgent inner desire to visually express the healing process which I see taking place during healing sessions for my clients. What I see are unique forms, shapes, color, light and sound waves. These are created by sound healing tools, my voice, and the energies which I call into our physical world to help others. I share these experiences and visions in my paintings.
Every piece of work emerges from a deep connection with the creative universal and earth energies. My process is likened to a meditational painting journey. I penetrate through the astonishingly intricate spheres of both the physical and subtle worlds, listening to and seeing; the music of the spheres in color and form. During process of painting I impregnate canvas with these sacred sounds using my voice. I chant ancient Sanskrit mantras and chakra balancing tones into the paint and canvas. I paint the shapes of these sounds.
While my mind flows in the spiral cycles of ever increasingly finer harmonics, my hands are guided, colors are revealed, and the painting is created. It is a living, moving, creative, and meditational process. The paintings have extraordinary layers of shape, color, and flow. They are impregnated with and record a particular matrix of healing frequencies. They are made manifest by me, through me, but are ultimately brought into being for their healing and ability to bring the finely vibrating frequencies of color, light, and sacredness into the lives of the viewer. May they benefit all sentient beings. |
